Monabat Kari Table – (Iranian wood carving Table)
Our lives are full of different memories. Each of us spends the morning and night of our lives with these memories. Like other people, I’m alive with my memories. To keep those memories, everyone does something different. One takes a photo. Another records it with a movie. Someone records a sound, and many people remember it in all their details. To remember memories and enjoy their fascinating moments, we occasionally refer to photo albums or audio and video files on our computers and phones. When we see memorable photos of our friends, our families, and the special and precious moments of our lives, we feel happier. As a result, I decided to make a wooden table to put memorable photo frames on it. And the story of creating this Monabat Kari table (Iranian wood carving table) began like this. I chose walnut and pear wood, and after the carpentry, glued the boards together to get the desired size of the Monabat table. Then I designed a regular octagonal board and drew a Monabat design on it.
