In the process of creating artworks such as this Monabat Kari tableau (Light in darkness), I have always tried to create varied and engaging works of art. A few years ago, I became familiar with the Moalla calligraphy style.This style of calligraphy was very appealing to me. As a result, I started creating this Iranian wood carving tableau (Light in darkness), which combines floral and shrub designs with words in a Moalla calligraphy style. One of the main features of a Moalla is the length of letters in words. Another feature of this calligraphy style is the interplay of letters and words. After finishing the design process of Monabat tableau (Light in darkness), I started to create this work of art using special wood carving tools. Finally, after completing the wood carving process, I created a frame for wooden tableau (Light in darkness) to look more beautiful.

He is delighted to have shared and extended his long-lasting experience and expertise in this field with inventing a new style of wood carving called Monabat Gereh (Knot Carving). Employing the origins and knots of wood, unique and novel works of art have been created in wood carving. At the Festival of New Art Ideas held in Tehran, Of the 1182 artworks, the Monabat Gereh (created by Mohammad Mehdi Tavakol) won the top rank. He has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions. Furthermore, He has been awarded at various festivals.
