There is no mirror in the world like this (Monabat Kari Mirror Frame)!!! (For more information, please read the product description)
There are two types of wood carving in this Monabat Kari Mirror Frame, typical Monabat used in the mirror frame and Monabat Gereh, used in the middle of this Iranian wood carving mirror frame. I have used walnut wood and floral motifs on the frame and then I drew the sketch, and it took weeks for the sketches to be carved. Then it was the turn of the middle part of the work. I used pear wood for the middle part of the mirror and Part of it is a wood natural node. After a lot of precision in the original shape of the knot, I concluded that this knot could have several natural shapes in it.

Who is the creator of this artwork?
Mohammad Mehdi Tavakol (the creator of this Iranian wood carving tableau (Light in darkness)) was born in Esfahan, Golpayegan, on March 22nd, 1961. Since he had such a passion for art, in 1975, he became familiar with the art of Monabat Kari (wood carving).
He is delighted to have shared and extended his long-lasting experience and expertise in this field with inventing a new style of wood carving called Monabat Gereh (Knot Carving). At the Festival of New Art Ideas held in Tehran, Of the 1182 artworks, the Monabat Gereh (created by Mohammad Mehdi Tavakol) won the top rank. He has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions. Furthermore, He has been awarded at various festivals.
Monabat Gereh (Knot Carving)
One of the basic features of Monabat Gereh (knot carving) which is recognized as a new style in Iran and worldwide and the creator of this style is me (Mohammad Mehdi Tavakol) This is because these knots only exist in this wood and it is not possible to find another wood like this in the whole world. Yes, after finding this wood, I looked at it for hours and days to discover the various shapes within the wood. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that a mysterious universe was hidden inside this wood. At first glance, I saw a lion’s head. Moving 15 minutes clockwise, it looks like a famous cartoon character (Pinocchio) with the same long nose and hat. Moving 45 minutes clockwise, we come to the third shape, which is like a goat’s head. Along with these natural wood knots, I added other designs to make this Monabat Kari Mirror frame more beautiful. The important thing about Monabat Gereh (Knot Carving) is that we should not simply pass along what is around us.
